Mortality
Dualita je hlavnou myšlienkou skladby. Každá vec na svete má dve a viac strán. Práve to je potrebné pochopiť a možno sa s tým istým spôsobom aj vyrovnať. Skladba má taktiež úlohu nabádať poslucháča k sebareflexii a zamyslením sa nad jeho existenciou a vnímaním sveta. V skladbe ide o to pochopiť, istým spôsobom nájsť a uvedomiť si svoje „kladné a záporné strany“ a nájsť balans medzi naším id, egom a superegom.
Na to aby sme pochopili celý text je potrebné si ho rozobrať:

(autor týmto slovným spojením naráža práve na to aké je jednoduché stratiť prehľad o sebe samom v hluku davu ľudí či všedných dní, naznačenie aj akéhosi stratenia samého seba a idey duality ktorá je prezenčná v autorovi či v ľuďoch ako takých, toto slovné spojenie je aj oxymoron takže to spĺňa svoju úlohu taktiež )

(depikcia depresie kedy sa protagonista cíti ako zakliaty nejakým kúzlom a pod.)

(protagonista si je vedomí seba samého, preto reflektuje a praje si zmeniť jeho behaviorálne vzorce)

Im trying to stay woke
(priama referencia na dielo Dante Inferno a na ideu existencie pekla spolu s ideou nejakého stavu bdelosti v spojení s vedomím samého seba či iných nemerateľných javov)
to be better
to feel stronger
to win battle
of my mortality
is this my reality?
(idea boja voči smrteľnosti, pri týchto vetách autor myslel na vojnu neba a pekla ktorú cíti nie len v sebe)

(upravená citácia z diela Dantes Inferno ,,In the midway of this our mortal life, I found be in a gloomy wood, astray.” - Canto I., lines I, 2.)
help me glue together all the pieces
to solve the mystery
of all the answers
I have in me
(otázky vyvolávajú odpovede ktoré len otvárajú viac otázok, táto myšlienka stála za týmito slovami a taktiež za touto skladbou. Autor prežíva v dobe písania skladby ťažkú úzkosť a depresiu ktorá ústi v reflexiu ktorá mu síce dá odpovede na jeho trápenie no tieto odpovede vyvolávajú len ďalší žial vo vnútri autora skrz uvedomenia si faktu koľko toho ešte nevie aby sa dostal tam kam chce a z uvedomenia si idey toho čo je potrebné spraviť k dostaniu sa k nejakému pocitu autonómie.

(presvedčenie o existencii akého si fungovania reinkarnácie alebo života po živote a možno spôsobu žitia pomocou karmických zákonov)

(opäť autor využíva dualitu vecí, kontrasty: rozprávač-postava, dobro-zlo, démon-anjel, naznačuje to akýsi pocit rozpoltenosti no zároveň s tým ako apeluje na to čo všetko je si berie kredibilitu a konečne pociťuje autonómiu)

(slovo superspectral si autor vymyslel na popísanie pomyselnej nad-roviny chápania a bytia ktoré existuje v jeho mysli)

(autor končí text s ideou potreby pozdvihnutia si svojho prahu citu či vnímania. (idea je sprevádzaná aj tonálnym zdvihnutím čo len podčiarkuje tieto posledné slová) Pričom sa
riadil definíciou: ,,Sentience is the capacity to feel, perceive, or experience subjectively. Eighteenth-century philosophers used the concept to distinguish the ability to think (reason) from the ability to feel (sentience).“)
